Sinn Féin
Party 4

Incumbent : No

Main message to voters:

Ireland should not be a nation that exports its youth to the extent of being the highest in the OECD. If elected I will work tirelessly for a fair recovery- one that is without water charges, family home taxes, homelessness. Ireland needs quality healthcare, decent pay and work conditions and change

Election history:

I was elected to the Seanad in 2011 & speak mostly on Finance issues. I am SF Spokesperson on Youth Affairs. In my term I have hosted a European Conference on Youth Unemployment in Cavan; wrote an Oireachtas report on the Youth Guarantee & Youth Unemployment; sat on the constitutional convention.

  1. Sinn Féin is committed to delivering a fair recovery and abolishing the stealth taxes that are water charges and the family home tax.
  2. Addressing the housing crisis- 100,000 new social homes, rent certainty & ensuring security of tenure to tenants, protecting them from eviction.
  3. Equality for young people- making sure they are treated equally in social welfare system by reversing the FF/FG/LAB cuts to young peoples payments.
