Incumbent : No

Main message to voters:

As a candidate in this historic General Election I believe that our region needs a fresh voice at the heart of decision making in this country. Engaging and listening to the people of our communities at grassroots level ensures I am perfectly placed to represent the constituents of Cork South West.

Election history:

Over the last twelve years I have served the people of West Cork and my track record of delivery is proven. I topped the poll in my first election in 2004 and was elected as the first female Mayor of Bandon. I was elected for a second term in 2009 and became a County Councillor in 2014.

  1. The devastating flooding that has brought misery on so many families and businesses needs to be addressed. Fast- tracking the funding is a priority.
  2. Protecting and securing investment for the forgotten communities of West Cork. The heart and soul of rural Ireland is at stake.
  3. As a mother of two teenagers the plight of working mothers is very close to my heart. Better tax incentives must be introduced.
