Incumbent : No

Main message to voters:

To me, politics is about delivering for people in their daily lives. It is about representing my constituents all year round & not just at election time. The "Bailey" van is always on the road. I pride myself on working hard & keeping in touch, this is the only way to stay connected to my electorate

Election history:

Elected to Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council at my first attempt in 2004, re-elected in 2009 & 2014. I represent the Killiney/Shankill Ward. My father John Bailey was also elected in 2004, together we made history by being the first father and daughter elected on the one day.

Priorities:

  1. Housing – the provision of both private and social housing, which is affordable for families in particular.
  2. Job creation, to deliver well paid jobs in a competitive economy. I believe a job is an important factor to lift people out of poverty.
  3. Healthcare – solving overcrowding problems in A&E.Eencouraging a healthy lifestyle through exercise and healthy eating.
